Congratulations to Oslo Airport Gardermoen with the purchase of another six Provision 2 security scanners!
9 November 2018
OSL is Norway's largest airport and the country's main international gateway. OSL is located at Gardermoen, 45 km north of Oslo, the capital of Norway. A hub for Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), an operating base for Norwegian Air Shuttle, and a focus city for Widerøe.
OSL connects to 30 domestic and about 115 international destinations. Almost 27.5 million passengers travelled through the airport in 2017, making it the nineteenth-busiest airport in Europe.
We congratulate Oslo airport Gardermoen (OSL) with the purchase of another six ProVision 2 security scanners. BBC will deliver, install and service these units. BBC had the most competitive offer to Avinor based upon a combination of price and technology.
The six ProVision 2 will be installed at Oslo Airport's existing security check-point in Terminal 1 and in addition to the security scanners delivered by BBC to Terminal 2.
Using the technology, ProVision 2 from L3, will lead to a higher security level and a safer journey for the passengers. The passengers will go through the security check-point with less hassle.
Schiphol Airport Amsterdam was the first airport in Europe that installed and tested the ProVision 2 security scanners.
BBC is L3's representative for the Nordic region contact Rune Thunem or Jon Erik Skau if you want more information on the benefits of ProVision 2 for your airport security.
